DC Mini Reunion!

Come hang out with the classes of 06, 07, 08, and 09 for a DC Mini Reunion! Admission is free, but we ask that everyone bring a canned food item to donate to a local food pantry.

ChurchKey is known for its amazing selection of beers, wine and great food, and thanks to a Dartmouth grad who works there we will have several great specials and a prime location.

In addition to a selection of appetizers, every attendee will receive one free beer from a menu of 5-6 artisanal beers chosen by our host, as well as specials on other beers, wine and cocktails.

Hi everyone! I'm Yasmin Mandviwala and I am the secretary of our class Exec Committee. After graduation I spent two years working at McKinsey in New York, enjoying all that the city has to offer and becoming familiar with corporate America. I left my job recently and have moved to Hyderabad, India, where I am working with Acumen Fund, a social venture fund that seeks to solve many of the world's problems through patient capital (check it out! acumenfund.org). The work is thrilling, and the city presents quite a culture shock.

Hi 08s! I've been living at home in New York City this summer, while working as a research assistant at a law firm. In a couple of days I am going back to Nashville to start my second year of law school at Vanderbilt. Nashville is a really fun place to live - full of music and delicious food. The interesting part: I looked at the clock, and the only thought that went through my head was, there's still time to order EBA's. Unfortunately, that particular office did not carry buffalo chicken pizzas with a side of ranch. Worst meeting ever.

The admission: "Interesting" may have been a stretch.

Hello all, Johnathan Ball here. I am currently living in the windy city of Chicago. After graduation I did the Tuck Bridge Program in Hanover. I then moved to Chicago to work for McMaster-Carr Supply in a management program. I am currently supervising in Sales after spending time in Finance, and Web Publishing.

I'm living in Hyde Park about 4 blocks from Pres. Obama's Chicago home. Love the neighborhood. Chicago Class of 2008 "Mini Reunion" coming this Fall. Dartmouth Chicagoans send comments with any ideas!

So I'm Lauren Bennett, the Class President (as Alums). I'm in charge of coordinating quarterly calls with all the execs to make sure we are doing a good job of keeping our class connected. (Ie- this blog, our facebook page, class website, emails, etc)...

Right now, I'm living in my hometown of Miami, FL, waiting to start law school at the University of Miami in August. After graduating, I worked as a Restaurant Manager for Hillstone Restaurant Group (yay corporate recruiting) for one year and then took another year off to apply to law school, relax, and get my life together.
